This is a newly created role within an ambitious, outcome-driven local authority.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic news and content officer to work as part of our team to specialise in promoting Wirral as a place to live, do business and invest.

You will be a highly capable and effective communicator, confident and competent at working with colleagues across the board, including politicians and journalists.

You will be an excellent writer with good news judgement, but will also have experience in creating engaging and shareable content across a variety of platforms including video, photography and social media.

Above all, you will have real enthusiasm for communicating what a fantastic place Wirral is to live and work.
