New Play ‘Bon Voyage’ at The Epstein Puts the ‘Fun’ into ‘Funeral’

bonBoom Boom Productions, the producers of the recent comedy If the Shoe Fits, are back, bringing audiences another show that promises to have audiences in stitches. Bon Voyage is their newest comedy, heading to Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre this September and tickets are on sale now.

Bon Voyage tells the story of a final farewell party to a much loved husband, father and friend, Rocky. Hosted by Rocky’s lovely wife Maggie and charming daughter Lisa, the chaos ensues with party guests including his best friends Bumper, Dazzler and Plonk.

Written by Richie Grice and Paul Nicholson, and directed by Richie Grice, the show stars local theatre favourites Lindzie Germaine and Mickey Finn.

The show has everything you would expect at a good knees-up: music, bevvies, a buffet and even a jukebox to really make the good times roll. Add in a few hilarious but loving observations from Maggie’s sweet natured father Archie and you have got yourself a winning shindig. Rocky would be having the time of his life if it weren’t for one small fact – he is DEAD, and the audience is amongst the guests invited to attend his funeral to wish him a final Bon Voyage!

Bon Voyage will be entertaining audiences at The Epstein from Tuesday 10 September – Saturday 14 September 2013.
