World Museum Liverpool William Brown Street, Liverpool ExhibitionsFace to Face3 December 2005 to 26 March 2006This touring exhibition, on loan from The Natural History Museum, consists of 30 large-scale photographic portraits of apes by James Mollison. The scale of the images invites visitors to consider the expressions and emotions of the mammals and makes reference to the Darwinian theory of human evolution.
Eye 4 Colour18 February to 27 August 2006This major interactive science exhibition explores the world of colour. Large spinning prisms, optical illusions, colour shadows, giant kaleidoscopes and mood rooms are just some of the devices that create this visual spectacle. The exhibition includes games, puzzles and interactive quizzes alongside a range of artefacts and specimens illustrating the diversity of colour in the world around us. Death on the NileAn atmospheric and interactive family show. Witness a re-enacted mummification scene & discover how bodies were preserved in Ancient Egypt. Family show. Pick up tickets at the information desk
Samurai ArmourAn informal demonstration about how Japanese Samurai Armour was worn between the late 15 th and 16 th Centuries. Learn step by step how the famous Lord Oda put on his armour, and the significance of each item. 7- Adult. Pick up tickets and the information desk
