Exhibitions

Face to Face

3 December 2005 to 26 March 2006

This touring exhibition, on loan from The Natural History Museum, consists of 30 large-scale photographic portraits of apes by James Mollison. The scale of the images invites visitors to consider the expressions and emotions of the mammals and makes reference to the Darwinian theory of human evolution.

Eye 4 Colour

18 February to 27 August 2006

This major interactive science exhibition explores the world of colour. Large spinning prisms, optical illusions, colour shadows, giant kaleidoscopes and mood rooms are just some of the devices that create this visual spectacle.

The exhibition includes games, puzzles and interactive quizzes alongside a range of artefacts and specimens illustrating the diversity of colour in the world around us.

In partnership with At-Bristol, W5, Magna, Science Projects and Ecsite-Uk.
