All the neighbours think Donal Davoren is an IRA gunman in hiding.  He thinks he’s a poet.  As the drama unfolds we find a community beset by poverty and oppression clinging to flags and emblems. Underneath it all are the same conflicts of class, culture and religion that divide us today

About Liverpool Network Theatre Group…

Liverpool Network is a community theatre group, with a long history, based in the centre of Liverpool. It was born out of the idea that theatre has the power to change society for the better.   We hold workshops, open to anyone over 18, each Tuesday at 7pm at Hope Street Limited (entrance: 13 Arrad St L1).  No audition necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!  Volunteers for backstage, production work, publicity, etc. are always welcome, too.
