Liverpool Artists’ Book Fair takes over Central Library this July
This summer, the iconic Liverpool Central Library will host the fifth Liverpool Artists’ Book Fair, showcasing unique hand-made books, notebooks and cards, bookbinding, book sculptures and everything in between.
Taking place on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July 2018, the fair will feature work and stalls from over 60 artists and entry is free to all.
The weekend will also feature workshops from artists Kate Bufton, Julie Dodd and Anna Yevtukh, in the Discover Room and there will be a series of short talks throughout the weekend in the Hornby Room by artists whose work features in the library’s Frankenstein 2018 book art exhibition, which runs until 9th August.
Members of the public are also welcome to join Simon Ryder, Curator of the Frankenstein 2018 exhibition, and Director of Liverpool Book Art, for an informal talk and tour of the exhibition.
The tour is free to attend with no booking required beginning in the library’s Hornby room on the following dates:

Wednesdays 27th June; 4th July; 25th July at 5:45pm

Liverpool Central Library is located in the heart of the city centre, on William Brown Street, between the Walker Art Gallery and the World Museum – and just a few hundred metres from Liverpool Lime Street train station.
