Liverpool Anglican Cathedral: South Liverpool Photographic Society Annual Exhibition

25 June -7 July

Entry to the Cathedral and exhibition is free. Car parking is pay on exit.
South Liverpool Photographic Society is delighted to be returning to this prestigious venue with its Annual
Exhibition for two weeks commencing Mon 25th June. Showcasing a diverse selection of around 250 prints and
120 projected images, the exhibition will present the work of members at all levels of skill and experience.

In recognition of our most skilled and longest serving member we are proud to show “Ted Baker FRPS, A
Retrospective”. Famous for his Jazz and Liverpool street photography, this display is a mixture of Ted’s prints
dating from the Sixties to present day.

Eric Garnett ARPS CPAGB, recently awarded Honorary Membership of SLPS, will have an Invitation Panel. Eric
makes an outstanding contribution to the Society especially through his knowledge and photography of Natural
History.

Every SLPS member has the chance to exhibit work within the following five categories – portrait/ figure study,
natural history, creative/ avant-garde, record/architecture and pictorial/illustrative.
This year’s exhibition
promises to live up to its usual high standards

Judges were
Colin Douglas ARPS AFIAP DPAGB BPE2* (Prints) and Diana Magor EPSA EFIAP LRPS BPE2* (DPI’s)
The exceptionally high standard of images on view always ensures that this popular exhibition provides plenty of
inspiration for all those budding David Baileys out there.

The Exhibition is to be formally opened on Monday 25th June at 7.30 by Roger Phillips, BBC Radio
