Liverpool’s answer to The Great Train Robbers!

Liverpool’s answer to The Great Train Robbers!

Join UrbanCanvas this Thursday 13th  August 2009 between 3pm and 6pm at the top of Bold Street’s pedestrianised area, Liverpool (outside Oxfam) Where Liverpool’s own team of internationally acclaimed artists (UrbanCanvas) will be returning to the scene of their crimes, last week the public hang drawn and quartered us without a trial because we dared to create strong images of global destruction moving some people to tears.

This week we are made to dress as ‘Art Criminals’ where we create an open air gallery of contemporary art….for three hours at least on the run from the pavement police……..this is the second of four events happening every Thursday in August around the Bold Street area………Based around the Year of The Environment celebrations, join us every week as we transform our environment with the help of the public, volunteers and artists…..a real interactive street art experience!

Call to arms…….We are looking for two volunteers to take part this Thursday (13th August) between 3pm and 6pm) three hours inclusive. You will be required to sit in a blue recycling bin….you will be instructed on what to do by the artists (Art Criminals) shopping vouchers as reward for good conduct!

Space for Art…As part of this event we will be having ‘a space for art’ where people can come down and spontaneously create art within a given space on the street…….a bit like The Fourth Plinth this will be a place of random happenings for anybody who wishes to make or create stuff in a public place!!! (Rules apply!)

By the way the space measures 12ft x 8ft
