The gallery doors will be staying open late for Global Studio, and we’ll have live music performed in the garden at sundown with Go Global (7.00 – 10.00pm). Plus an evening of Explore activities for families (6.00 – 8.00pm), printmaking demonstrations, a LOACA.Art craft fair and barbeque in the courtyard, and food and drink in the Upstairs bistro.
Global Studio 6.00 – 10.00pm
A special evening viewing of our latest exhibition showcasing the work of Liverpool artists who have forged international networks outside the city. Artists were invited to develop exhibition proposals, resulting in five different yet connected displays by artists from Austria, France, Germany, Japan and Pakistan, as well as Merseyside, working in printmaking, video, painting and installation.

Join our Explore artists for some fun drop-in family activities inspired by are current exhibition Global Studios.
LOACA.Art craft fair. 6.00 – 10.00pm
LOACA.ART and the Bluecoat showcase a number of unique stalls and retailers, each exhibiting and selling their handcrafted wares. Every item is totally handmade and therefore entirely unique. Enjoy a rare opportunity to see, buy and/or commission work from local artists and makers, including the best of the region’s up and coming creative talent.
Instantanés Vladimir Preview 6.00 – 9.00pm
The Lost Soul and Stranger Service Station present a sound installation by Manchester based artist Eimer Birkbeck in the Old Barbershop at the Bluecoat. Exhibition continues until 28 May 2.00 – 6.00pm.
