Last Call for Mann Island Photo Competition

Last call for entrants to Mann Island photographic competition

This is the last week for photographers to try and claim a prize for
the best shot of Mann Island.
The competition, sponsored by Countryside Properties, closes on
November 23rd, so anyone who wants to be in with a shout of earning
the top prize of £500 needs to get snapping. There is also a second
prize of £250, with third place collecting £150.
The best 20 entries will be selected for an exhibition to be held at
Mann Island itself in the Equator which links the two wedge-shaped
apartment buildings, and all entries will be displayed on the
competition’s Flickr page www.flickr.com/groups/mannisland .
“The response to the competition has been excellent and we know we
will have a real task on our hands to narrow the entries down even to
the best 20 to make up the exhibition, never mind choosing the top
three,” said Countryside Properties’ Regional Sales and Marketing
Director, Peter Vella.
The judges are looking for the entry which best captures the spirit of
these distinctive buildings at Liverpool’s World Heritage
waterfront.
Judges for the competition include renowned Liverpool photographer
Pete Carr, up and coming urban photographer Amina Bihi, Juice Fm DJ
and keen photographer Steve Timmins as well as Countryside
Properties’ Peter Vella.
Entry details can be found at www.mannislandpicture.com where there
are also full terms and conditions.
