Its well worth a visit to the Post and Echo building in Old Hall street to see this complete collection of John Lennon’s artworks. Complete from 1968 that is. There’s quite a lot of work, many sold out limited editions but also a fair few still for sale.
Many people I met at the viewing decided that having seen the exhibition Lennon was a better artist then they’d thought.
There’s a few originals there too, its interesting to see the difference between those and the subsequent prints.
This exhibition has been organised in conjunction with Yoko Ono’s company, Bag One and demonstrates the various styles used by John Lennon to express his imaginative artistic style.
