Inspiration:
Janet's design was inspired by an exhibition at Tate Liverpool of the work of Niki Saint de Phalle (1930-2002), a french painter and sculptor who created brightly coloured statues decorated with abstract shapes, hearts and flowers. Janet Fishwick has a life-long interest in wildlife and the environment and currently works for an animal charity in Liverpool. She has a particular passion for 1960s design.
