A Canadian artist living and working in New York, Nancy Davenport constructs reality-bending images that fall somewhere between photography and moving image, stillness and high-speed, fiction and document.

At the Bluecoat, David Blandy (UK), Tracey Moffatt (Australia), Khalil Rabah (Palestine) and The Royal Art Lodge (Canada) present new, commissioned work, and Sarah Sze (US) a stunning site-specific installation in the Vide.

Experienced guides walk you through the exhibition, answer questions and challenge you to think beyond your initial responses to the art on display. Tours last approx. 45 minutes.
 

Walker - John Moores Prize 25

imageJohn Moores Contemporary Painting Prize 25. Exhibition 20 September - 23 December 2008
The first prizewinner is awarded a prize of £25,000 and visitors will also be able to vote for their favourite painting in the exhibition with a Visitors’ Choice prize of £2008 awarded to the winning artist.
