statement: | I am a retired theatre designer working now as a painter. I work from my studio, a narrowboat on the Leeds and Liverpool canal. I work mostly in acrylics on canvas, and am especially interested in water, boats and reflections. I also like to paint ducks and swans, wildflowers and trees. I enjoy doing portraits too. I am increasingly interested in urban scenes, and have begun a series of works based on Liverpool. | |
