Encounters: Liverpool Biennial at Bury Art Museum

Last week, Liverpool Biennial set off on another road trip; this time to Bury. Throughout 2017, Biennial 2016 will be reviving its exhibitions, performances, films and installations in venues across the North of England.

Bury Art Museum is the second venue to host the work and, unlike the installation of Dogsy Ma Bone, by Marvin Gaye Chetwynd in Rochdale, Bury is showing a selection of work by four artists; Mark Leckey, Celine Condorelli, Audrey Cottin and Rita McBride.

This exhibition hopes to share the Biennial’s work with as many people as possible, in as many places as possible, so we thought we’d share some photos by Pete Carr, courtesy of Liverpool Biennial with you. If you didn’t get a chance to see the work during the festival though, don’t use this as an excuse not to see the show… get on a train to Bury and discover a new space, filled with exceptional work.
