Fine Art degree at the University of Central Lancs
PGCE  at John Moores

I am a liverpool based artist and have grown up in Liverpool.  I did a Fine Art degree at the University of Central Lancs followed by a PGCE  at John Moores and I currently teach art and design in a secondary school on the Wirral.

My work is of a very illustrative style. I paint mostly in gouache on board on a small scale. I use a lot of pattern and tiny detail, i like to create images that people can keep looking back to and find something new each time.

My work incorporates a lot of natural imagery with a dreamlike quality.

I regularly show my paintings at 60 Hope st. at the Farmers Market.
I  take on commissioned work, for example in 2005 I created a painting that was given to Brian Wilson from The Beach Boys after his ‘summer pops’ gig. this was featured in the Echo.
