The University of Cumbria is looking for a creative and dynamic graphic designer to work as part of the new Marketing & Digital Engagement Team. The successful candidate will have a flair for design, an eye for detail, an understanding of the print and digital production process and a huge amount of enthusiasm.

This is a fantastic role for a creative individual who wants to work across multiple briefs in a busy design team, working closely with colleagues from around the University. You will contribute to creative briefs; develop solutions to a wide variety of projects, including University publications, departmental literature, events publicity, digital signage and online design.

Service
Marketing, Recruitment and Development is an integrated professional service that represents the University externally with potential students and non-statutory funders and partners including commercial and public sector partners, internationally and in the UK. The service is made up of marketing and digital engagement, communications, events and alumni, UK recruitment and WP access.

The new Marketing & Digital Engagement team falls within this service area providing a fully integrated marketing function to the University, working with business services and faculties to meet the key business drivers of student recruitment, income generation, building brand, profile and reputation and internal marketing. Key functions of the team include insight driven marketing strategy, planning and implementation, campaign planning, recruitment CRM, graphic design, web management and development, digital marketing and social media.
