Gallery at the Wharf: SAKURA – cherry blossom

6 April – 27 May

with an exhibition “Sakura” (Japanese for cherry blossom). Members
are creating works themed on glorious blossom and the awakening of the
earth after a long winter hibernation.

There will be everything from art for your walls to touchable
ceramics, wood, glass and a variety of textile arts. Several honorary
members of the Art and Craft Guild of Lancashire will be returning
especially for this one exhibition with ceramics from Mo Fulford and
herons carved from lime wood from John Mercer. Brenda Fee has been
invited to return with her Japanese influenced ceramics that beg to be
stroked.
