Freelance Museum Consultant: Perpetual Movement: Rambert at 90, from 25 August-30 October 2016, £4,000 fee

The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.

We are looking for a creative Museum/Gallery Consultantto develop and deliver interactive family learning opportunities within the Perpetual Movement contemporary art and dance exhibition.

The Museum Consultant will be responsible for working closely with Rambert and with The Lowry’s Galleries and Learning & Engagement departments to develop interactive activities and resources for Bertram Batell’s Side Show.

Strong organisation skills, flexibility and an interest in performing arts are essential. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of museum and family learning and will hold project and budget management skills.  They will be experienced in the delivery of learning projects and working on cross-art form projects.

Please note travel to London will be required for access to archive materials (expenses reimbursed).
