About Express Arts

Express Arts was founded in 2012, based in Warrington with the main aim to help build confidence in young people through the use of the creative arts. Express Arts is a skill developing platform which delivers several projects including our youth theatre provision, outreach projects and partnerships working with charities and organisations in the local area. We are recruiting a Freelance Creative Practitioner to assist in our latest project.

About the Project

The project will be based at Orford Youth Base working in partnership with Warrington Youth Service. The project will be split into two cohorts, in each cohort you will engage with 10 young people aged 11-19 over a 12 week period, introducing them to drama and filmmkaing techniques. The sessions will lead to the group producing their own film which will be used to promote Warrington Youth Service. The group will also be working to complete a Bronze Arts Award which you will support with the direction of the Project Co-ordinator.  This post holder will report to and work closely with the Project Co-ordinator to deliver this exciting new project. The first cohort is due to start at the end of April and will take place on Friday evenings 7-9pm.

Fee per programme: £25 per hour x 2 hour session x 12 sessions: £600 including planning and travel costs

There are two programmes within this project therefore total amount is £1200
