Festival of Firsts: A Grand Poetry Day out in New Brighton with the Wild Words Street Safari

unnamed-56 July 2014

Floral Pavilion New Brighton will be the hub for the Poetry Day Out. Various Poetry Groups will host reading venues inside the Floral Pavilion and there will be lots of  friendly opportunities for poets to read or perform their poems. Check posters and the Festival website for more details of who is reading where on the day including outside at the Marine Point circle.

Watch out for amazing surprises as the Wild Words Street Safari tracks down endangered imaginations! Cathy Roberts of Literally A Bookshop New Brighton has devised a special activity for poets of all ages to create rhymes based on the street where you live and an animal beginning with the same letter. Just come along on the day to get involved!
