Exhibition Opportunities

Chapel Gallery has recently undergone a programme of redevelopment after successfully achieving funding from Arts Council England. It’s an exciting time for the gallery, with additional exhibiting spaces meaning that there are even more opportunities for artists, designers and makers at this ambitious arts venue.

Please find below our current exhibition opportunities. The deadline for receipt of submissions is 01 April 2017 (earlier submissions will be happily received).

WHAT: Kaleidoscope (Title TBC)

Group show of artists whose work explores our relationship colour.

This group show will bring together the work of artists who explore our understanding of colour, from optical effects and resonance through to the rich spectrum of colour found in nature.

WHEN: Winter 2017/Spring 2018.

WHAT: Childhood/Play (Title TBC)

Group show of artists whose work considers our experience of childhood and/or play.

This group show will bring together the work of artists exploring childhood and/or play through their work, from memories and personal experience to toys and what means to play.

WHAT: Animals/Murmurations (Title TBC)

This group show will focus on work that features animals and/or birds.

Any artists whose work features animals or birds are invited to submit information and images for consideration

A group show bringing together the work of artists inspired by the natural world.

From the coral on the seabed to sun dappled woodland or a stormy sky, this group show will bring together a collection of work by artists who are inspired by the natural environment.
