Drawing 10 Week Course – dot-art with Josie Jenkins
    Wednesdays 18.00 – 20.00 starting 3 February 2016 (£160 for 10 sessions)

Led by award winning artist Josie Jenkins, this 10 week drawing course will give you the opportunity to improve your observational drawing skills and try new ways of working, guided with exercises designed for all abilities, in the inspiring surroundings of the Sefton Park Palm House.

    Program
This course is designed for anyone who enjoys drawing. If you are a beginner, the course will lead you through the basic principles of drawing and allow you to discover different ways of working, by instruction and experimentation. If you’ve already had experience of drawing, the exercises will ask you to reconsider the basics and challenge you to try to work in different ways.
Each week the session will focus on a different drawing principle or idea for you to consider, giving you both direction and freedom to experiment. Throughout the course you will be encouraged to try using different materials and scales and to develop your own ideas and knowledge about drawing, through discussion and by examining the work of other artists.
