Father’s Day Woodworking Class: Build it, Bond it.
Having trouble nailing down a plan for Father’s Day? Tired of the same old drill of buying a card and a tie? Well, don’t get unhinged! We here at Make have got a plan your father-figure will enjoy, weather they have a screw loose or they’re on the level.
That’s right! Those terrible dad-joke puns signal that Father’s day is just a few short weeks away! This Father’s Day, instead of just buying something for your father-figure, why not spend some time bonding with them? We’re having a special Father’s Day edition of our woodworking class called “Build it, Bond it!”
You’ll learn how to use the basic tools for woodworking by making your own wall-mounted bottle and glass holder (pictured above).
This hands on class will teach and explore woodworking techniques including how to measure and cut accurately, sanding, planing, drilling and sawing. Gain the confidence to use a range of hand tools and build an understanding of woodworking methods.
All materials will be provided, using reclaimed and recycled wood, makers will go home with a self made bottle holder. One ticket grants two places in the class.
