A Particular Act is hosting FINLAND DOES NOT EXIST an experimental performance by artist Stephen Sheehan.
The performance is derived from ideas during his five week stay in Lapua, Finland, where Sheehan made a film called, Behind the lights: All blonde people should be shot. The film is currently on show at the Vanha Paukku Centre in Lapua, Finland.
The performance will explore ideas about life, death, and the absurdity of existence while making reference to the conspiracy theory that Finland does not exist.
The performance will act as a work and a prototype towards a film that will be made later in the year also called FINLAND DOES NOT EXIST.
