EVENTS: Chinese New Year at the St. Luke’s Church

Come on down to the bombed out church and bring in the Lunar New Year in traditional style. This Thursday St Luke’s will re-open with a Lion & Unicorn Performance for Chinese New Year . Friday we have a movie screening (see separate event Balzac and the Chinese Seamstress). Sunday is the big city-wide celebration, starting at the bombed out church at 11.30am- C’mon down!

Our programme for Chinese Year at St Luke’s welcomes the New Year with a bang:

Thursday 3rd February at 6pm:
The HUNG GAR KING FU CLUB
will be blessing St Luke’s with a special Lion Dance performance.  entry by donation

Sunday 6th February 12noon to 5pm:
Liverpool Chinese New Year Celebration.
Lion & Unicorn Dance start point St Luke’s at 11.30am.

Friday 11th February from 2 – 9.00pm:
film – BALZAC AND THE LITTLE CHINESE SEAMSTRESS
(with English Sub Titles. 7pm start) + Cat & Rabbit Theme Cartoons (6pm) dress warm. entry by donation
