GANBARE TOHOKU! …In aid of the people of Japan worst affected by the March the 11th earthquake and tsunami. Here at Etsu Japanese Restaurant we are holding a Japan Fun Day to help the people of Japan worst affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami. Come down, show your support and have fun with all that Japanese culture has to offer!
One of our own members of staff is originally from the North East coast of Japan and her family and friends have lost their homes, businesses as well as two members of the family.
We can’t bring their homes, friends, relatives or memories like photographs back but we want to show Japan we care by celebrating what Japanese culture has to offer whilst having fun and more importantly raising money to directly help the people worst affected.
The day will include;

– Martial arts displays
– Japanese Taiko Drummers
– Japanese food/sweets/arts/crafts stalls
– Bonsai displays
– Sumo wrestling
– Geisha dressing
– Japanese games
