Dinosaurs at World Museum for Science Week 2008

Visitors to World Museum Liverpool are being invited to play dinosaur detectives this weekend to celebrate National Science Week.

A huge replica T-Rex head and a giant replica Apatasaurus femur measuring nearly 6ft will be on display for the first time.

Fun activities and quizzes will give families the chance to discover the secret history of these amazing creatures and resident dinosaur expert Dave Roberts will be on hand on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 March from 1300-1600 hours to answer all your paleontological questions.

National Science and Engineering Week 2008 runs from 7-16 March and is an opportunity for people of all ages, areas and organisations to take part in science, engineering and technology activities.

National Science and Engineering Week is coordinated by the British Association for the Advancement of Science in partnership with the Engineering and Technology Board. It is funded by the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills.
