A vacancy has become available within our Development Team for a Development Assistant.
The principal responsibilities of this role will be to handle all administrative work related to donors, including processing income; communicating with donors to renew their gifts and thank them for their support; to answer donor queries in an appropriate and timely way; any administration related to events including schedules, catering requests and RSVPs; reporting on and reconciling income; welcoming and hosting donors at events.
The standard contracted hours for all employees are 35 per week. Normal office hours are Monday – Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm; however, Development activity is frequently scheduled outside these hours. Overtime is not payable. Time off in lieu can be arranged with the Individual Giving Manager.
The salary for this post is £17,000.
