‘Desideratum’ a large scale triptych by the British figurative realist painter Nicholas Charles Williams and will be exhibited at Liverpool’s magnificent Anglican Cathedral.
This powerful and arresting painting continues Williams’ interest in the complexity of human behaviour and its drives and forces.
He has exhibited widely, with solo shows at the Russell-Cotes Museum & Art Gallery, Bournemouth; Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro and St Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh. In 2001 he was awarded the Hunting Art Prize.
