Creative Communities Retreat, August 2011

The Creative Communities Retreat is a Not For Profit initiative led by artists Siobhan O’Niell BA (Hons) , Andrew Banks BA (Hons) and Stephanie Holmes BA (Hons). The aim is to provide a holistic and creative environment to enthuse and ignite the senses of the participants.

We hope that you will leave the retreat feeling rejuvenated and armed with new creative strings to your bow and you will have the confidence and inspiration to develop them further. Our wish is also to maintain a network of creatively minded individuals who are willing to share this knowledge across a national network.

The August retreat will be held at the peaceful location of the CHET Centre in Little Crosby, Sefton. Little Crosby is a small and unspoiled historic village located close to the Mersey Bay coastline. The retreat commences at 7pm on Friday 12th August and runs until midday on Sunday 14th August. The weekend consists of a mixture of facilitated sessions and free time allowing you to explore your creativity in and around the inspiring CHET centre. The experience is also about meeting other creatively minded people like you and sharing homemade healthy food in a rural relaxing environment. There will be professional artists and creatives on hand throughout the weekend to inspire and guide you during the retreat.

The retreat costs £295 and is inclusive of 2 nights shared accommodation. This is inclusive of all food, snacks, beverages, professional tuition and art materials.

The retreat is ideal for people with a creative spirit who wish to explore and expand their creativity through a combination of workshops, networking in a “get away from it all” environment.
