We are currently seeking to recruit a Communications Assistant to support our Artistic Director [AD], Ruth Gould. The role is part time – 15 hours per week, – with the exact days and times that you work being agreed with the Artistic Director.

As the AD is a deaf person, the Communications Assistant will need to support her in the areas where hearing is required; this will include using the telephone and conveying accurate information as well as ensuring she is made aware of any conversations or sounds that she may not party to in group gatherings. Skills are also needed for note taking. The Communications Assistant must also have the ability to represent the company, be dependable, confidential and a team player.

The role will involves working closely with the Artistic Director and will require the occasional evening and week end work.
