The Board is seeking an inspirational and experienced CEO to lead FACT into its next phase, building on its position as a leading digital arts organisation, and continuing to develop its reputation both nationally and internationally. The new CEO will bring extensive experience of delivering successful change across a complex organisation.

FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) is the UK’s leading media arts centre, based in Liverpool, offering a unique programme of exhibitions, film and participant-led art projects.
Since the opening of the award-winning FACT Centre in 2003, it has welcomed five million visitors to its three gallery spaces, four cinema screens, café and bar.

FACT’s mission is to support, produce and present excellent, world-class visual art that embraces and explores creative media and digital technology, while developing skills, talent, research, enterprise and innovation in inclusive and collaborative ways.  FACT believes that by providing spaces for people, art and technology to meet it can nurture and develop innovative minds, inspire creativity, support emergent talent and transform people’s lives.

The ideal candidate for the CEO will be a senior leader in the arts/digital or the wider arts sector, with experience of managing significant budgets and large teams.  They will have strong leadership skills and a track record of motivating teams to work successfully to deliver a shared vision and mission.
