24 June – 5 July 2009
The ‘Toxteth Primary Network Exhibition’ is comprised from a variety of artworks from local primary schools. The initial idea for the exhibition was to assemble a collection of work to celebrate the heritage of cultural education within the Toxteth/Granby area.

The exhibition also encourages better community links by enabling local schools to share excellent practice with each other, with local secondary schools and with gallery art educators.

Each of the 14 schools involved is presenting an exhibition based upon its own individual theme. Some schools worked in partnership with local artists whilst others utilised the artistic talents of its own class teachers.

The end result is a stimulating, diverse exhibition, which celebrates the excellent work being produced by our youngest artists.

The 14 participating schools are as follows:
Mathew Arnold
Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Pleasant St.
Windsor St.
St. Annes
St. Charles
St. Clares
St. Finbars
St. Hughes Chatham Nursery
St. Michael in the Hamlet
St. Nicholas
St. Patricks
