Touched – Art that succeeds in affecting the viewer: art that moves us in mind, body and soul.

The UK’s largest visual art festival, this year’s theme of Touched provokes questions such as how are we touched by seeing or making art? How can an artist’s work be inspired through an understanding of what touches people? The artists exhibiting at the Bluecoat, Daniel Bozhkov, Nicholas Hlobo, Carol Rama and Ranjani Shettar respond to the theme by tracing memory and matter, identity and humour.
