Dr. Maureen Bampton, Director of the Bluecoat Display Centre will be attending the launch of the Crafts Blueprint at the House of Lords tomorrow (10 June 2009), as the guest of The Baroness Sharp of Guildford.
Maureen was a member of the Crafts and Cultural Skills national panel for the past 3 years, which culminated in the Crafts Blueprint, a workforce development plan for the crafts in the UK.
Maureen has over twenty years experience working directly with the national and international craft sector, and 2009 marks the independent not-for-profit
Bluecoat Display Centre’s 50th anniversary year.
