Blue Room takes to the Road

Blue room
Announcement from Blue Room, at Bluecoat:
We’re taking Blue Room on the Road

We are starting a new Blue Room project at Norton Priory Museum and Gardens in Runcorn. Blue Room, an art group for people with a learning disability, has been happening at Bluecoat for 10 years and runs 50 weeks of the year. Our new Blue Room group is aimed at young learning disabled people aged 18 – 25*. We can accommodate young people with complex and pan disabilities and will be providing support as part of your Blue Room membership fee, should you want to join after your taster session experience.

If you would like to try out a Blue Room session join us at one of our FREE taster days taking place at Norton Priory every Friday in August and September from 10am – 4pm, in which we’ll be making art together, both inside and outside, and having a brilliant time! Then if you decide you would like to stay and become a member of Blue Room at Norton Priory your place will cost £54 per week and include support from a trained social care professional.

To book onto any of these taster days or to find out more about Blue Room at Norton Priory please contact katrina.s@thebluecoat.org.uk or 0151 702 7761.

You can also bring along your own PA to a taste day, when contacting Katrina please inform us of any requirements and how we can best support you.
