Sea Cycles 2006

seacycles05-1.jpgIn all the excitement of the opening weekend of the Biennial next week please don't overlook the annual Sea Cycles event on Sunday September 17th. It's always fun, if you want to get involved see the details below.

What: The people powered procession traces the tidal pool's route beneath the City Centre in a seaworthy fashion... dressed as boats or sea creatures, walking, with prams or wheelbarrows, on scooters, skateboards or bikes.
Seacyles reclaims our hidden history, tells our stories and sparks debate about our City's future.

When: Sunday 17 September 2006; 12.30pm

Where: Procession begins outside the World Museum and finishes at the Salthouse Dock where we will gather on the Walk the Plank boat for refreshments, story telling and chat.

Who: Everyone! You do not have to dress-up to take part!
