There was a summer art auction at Arena on Friday. It was the last of these popular events as in a few months time (after the Biennial) they are re-locating to Jordan St.
As usual Dr Paul O'Keeffe wielded the gavel in his own inimitable style, refreshments were inexpensive and it was fun. All the works sold, prices ranging from £5 to £200 for the final work by Sarah Richards, so finishing in style.
We bought a couple of paintings without breaking the bank.
