St. Nicholas Parish Church Artist Residencies

St. Nicholas Parish Church, Liverpool, July - November 2006

Funded by the Arts Council, this project will provide three artists with the opportunity to undertake a residency at Liverpool Parish Church of Our Lady and St. Nicholas. The church is situated near the Royal Liver Building at the Pier Head, at the bottom of Chapel Street. Further information about "St. Nick's" can be found on the church's website.

The project will involve artists working on-site to produce artwork in direct response to the church and its surroundings.
Art produced will be exhibited at the church during the Liverpool Biennial, providing access to an international audience.
There will be artist-led workshops involving local school/ community groups. Also taking place during the Biennial will be an Artist Discussion event which will be open to the public.

Each of the three artists will receive a fee of £600.
