Open Eye Gallery

Founded in the heart of Liverpool in 1977, Open Eye Gallery has grown into one of the UK's leading photography spaces. The gallery's small, dynamic team has recently embarked on an ambitious programme of development, which will culminate in relocation to a larger, purpose-built space in 2008.

Open Eye Gallery is a key player in Liverpool's programme as Capital of Culture, 2008.

Marketing & Development Manager
£24,000-28,000, depending on experience
2 year contract

We are looking for a creative, highly-motivated individual, with at least 3 years' proven experience and comprehensive knowledge of local and national funding systems and trends. You will devise, implement and manage a set of structured strategies
focused on effective communications, audience development and fund-raising.

Programme Manager
£18,000-22,000, depending on experience
You will contribute to and co-ordinate delivery of the gallery's expanding artistic programmes of exhibitions, projects and public events, and manage the gallery space. You will have excellent writing and project management skills, extensive knowledge of contemporary visual arts and at least 2 years' experience of organising exhibitions.
