Liverpool-based Art Consultants and suppliers Indigo Art have announced the winner of their 2005 art prize. Cornwall-based painter David Briggs collects the £2,500 prize.
David has already enjoyed considerable success as a professional artist, with extensive group and solo exhibitions held across the UK. As a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists and Wimbledon Arts Group, his paintings are collected by the Head of the BBC, Kensington Palace – and have even appeared on TV in the Big Brother house!
