Marketing Job at Bluecoat Arts Centre

BLUECOAT LIVERPOOL'S CENTRE FOR CONTEMPORARY ARTS
Head of Marketing

Salary c £30k depending on experience
35 hours per week

At the centre of Liverpool's cultural life for almost a century, Bluecoat Arts Centre is undergoing a major £10m capital development, in time for Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008. We are now seeking a dynamic and self motivated Head of Marketing to develop and implement marketing strategies, including launching a new brand and reopening this unique building, with its mix of combined arts programmes, creative tenants, shops, heritage and public spaces, in 2007.

Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience, you will have spent at least five years marketing, three of them in the arts, using a broad range of tools. You will have devised, implemented and evaluated a marketing strategy, initiated market research and audience development schemes, and developed fundraising activities.

Ability to communicate to a range of stakeholders and produce work to a high level, on time and with attention to detail, are essential, as are understanding and interpretation of market research and audience data. You will have proven experience of managing budgets, a broad knowledge of press and broadcast media and be able to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work as part of a team.
You must demonstrate a commitment to the values of customer care and equal opportunities and a real passion for increasing access to the arts.
