Casual Gallery Assistants
£5.38 per hour.

Based in Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008, FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) is one of Britain’s most innovative and enterprising arts organisations. Its flagship project, the £11m FACT Centre, opened to public and critical acclaim in 2003 and is the only cultural venue in the UK which is dedicated to the support, development and presentation of artists’ work in film, video and new media.

We are now looking to recruit Casual Gallery Assistants to complement our team of staff working in the building. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with customer service experience and passionate about contemporary culture.

The suitable applicant should be self motivated with a flexible approach to working within the galleries and with visitors. This role will include some weekend and evening work. Key responsibilities will include security of the galleries, dealing with visitors and the assisting in the opening and closing the Exhibition Spaces.
