SUBMIT TO SIDESHOW!

Contemporary artists and artist led groups or initiatives working in any media are invited to submit proposals for projects they would like to curate or deliver as part of the Sideshow program.

Sideshow takes place from 21 April - 25 June 2006 in Nottingham and the surrounding region and submissions can be made for any part of this period.

Sideshow encourages artists to think creatively about the delivery of their work and consider the potential that working in alternative venues offers including the impact of site-specific practice and public and social intervention in addition to venue based projects.

Sideshow will support projects that demonstrate:

· Innovation
· Clear context
· Relevance to the specified or required location
· An exploration of issues relevant to contemporary art
· Quality
