Ikona's Icons at View Two

'Sacred X' Interactive Icons by Oleg Ikona at View Two Gallery.
These interactive icons on the walls of the top floor at View Two are good fun. They are beautifully crafted using the traditional methods with very detailed paintwork using tempera and in some cases, gold leaf. You can press buttons to make them light up or play music or other sounds. The highlight is the Beatles icon which includes items such as a lock of Lennon's hair, a piece of Ringo's drumstick and an mp3 player with a selection of Beatles and more contemporary music.
There's a full review by Philip Key in the Daily Post
