Guillermo Gomez Pena of Pochanostra Invites the artist Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney to the Pocha International Performance Gallery

The international artist Guillermo Gomez Pena of Pochanostra has invited the Liverpool based performance artist Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney to launch his Pocha International Performance Gallery. His selection from the artist is the live performance 'The Temple Series'.

'The Temple Series ' performance was conceived and directed by Gaynor Evelyn Sweeney and performed live with Elizabeth Heritage, Tony Knox and George Lund at the Liverpool Biennial 2004. It is a hyrbid of other body previous performances which evolved from exchange and intervention in Liverpool , New York and Paris . This was accompanied by a projection of earlier live interventions filmed and founded by creative research and dialogue with the New York and Liverpool artists, particularly Kofi Fosu. The performance had toured to London in Spring 2005.
