Arena gallery, Liverpool, is hosting a day of live art on Saturday September 17th 2005. It will be followed by a 2 week exhibition of documentation and performance remnants left from the day's events. Performances can take place across the city or in Arena gallery, which is a white walled space in the city centre.
Performance, installation, site-specific works, interventions, events and workshops are all welcome and proposals should be sent via email or post to the address below:

Please apply enclosing:
- A detailed proposal including a description of the performance and of the documentation or other fabric of the work to be exhibited in the gallery space - A CV and exhibition history
- Images of the past work and/or any other information relevant to the selection of the work

Please include an SAE if you would like your submission to be returned.
We regret that no artist's fees are currently available. Arena is committed to supporting artists' development through making exhibition space available and by creating meeting places for artists working towards similar aims. Artists exhibiting at Arena are encouraged to give a talk about their practice at some point over the duration of their exhibition.
