Another nice, arty advent calendar. This one from the Tate. I don’t know why its says ‘Kids’, seems perfectly suitable for adults like me.

It happened a week ago but it’s taken me that long to upload the video onto youtube. This year’s Liverpool Santa Dash had just under 7,000 entrants, it took over 12 minutes for them all to run past me as I filmed near the start at Mann Island.
The weather was dry and sunny which always helps, seeing thousands of soggy santas seeking shelter is not such a jolly sight.
Its a 5K run around the city centre, ending at the Town Hall after which its always amusing to see so many groups of Santas all around town, sitting in pubs, cafes, queueing at bus stops etc.

We have a ski/alpine theme complete with mulled wine so you can all get that ‘out on the piste’ feeling. We also have mince pies and DJs too!

Another online advent calendar. This is on the blog of the Daily Post’s Laura Davis and each day gives you a slice of local history. Interesting.
