JOB OPPORTUNITY at METAL

Job Title: - Arts Administrator
Term - Salaried position – initial contract, one year
Starting Salary - £16,500
Hours of Work - Full Time (hours 9am – 5.30pm)
Location - Metal House, Kensington, Liverpool.

Metal is looking for an excellent, highly organised and motivated Arts Administrator to support our work across two sites – Liverpool and Southend-on-Sea.

Based in Liverpool, this is a key post supporting our ambitious programme and development.

Starting salary £16, 500 per annum.

ABOUT METAL

Metal is the artist’s laboratory space, founded by Jude Kelly OBE in 2002. We are committed to supporting artists from all disciplines by creating time and space for the development of ideas and philosophies around artist’s work - through residencies; producing; commissioning; debate and discussion; touring and publishing.

In January 2007 we were successful in securing one of 25 Thrive awards given nationally by the Arts Council of England. Having spent 4 years building a reputation for providing multi-disciplinary residency space for artists from the UK and overseas in both London and Liverpool, we are now building our team, to help research and realise our ambitious ideas for the future of Metal.

George Lund here. Sending information on my retropsective exhibition. It is at the South Bohemina Gallery/Cafe Smithdown Road. A few blocks down on righthandside past the Asda Store. Going towards Penny Lane/Ullet Road. By the two bus stops before the traffic lights. Friday 730pm 20th July is an art night with live music and my performance. Take care regards George
