Stand Up Comedy Course for Adults!

Liverpool Comedy Trust are now looking for participants to take part in a six-week Stand Up Comedy Course to find the funniest person working in or around the city.

Participants will learn how to perform a comedy routine of their own, writing original material under instructions from professional stand up comedians. Participants will perform to colleagues, family and friends at the final event at the Royal Court Theatre alongside a headline act from the national comedy circuit.

Liverpool Comedy Trust run stand up comedy courses with schools, youth groups and businesses throughout the year. Courses help improve communication skills, self-confidence and give participants valuable material for public speaking. Each participant will be allocated complimentary tickets to the final event to support their comedian.

Workshops will start on Tuesday 10th April 2007 at the Radio City Tower for six weeks at 6pm – 8pm. The final performance will take place on Thursday 17th May at the Royal Court Theatre, home of Rawhide Comedy Club. The full price is £140.
